Any of you guys know if someone has done a video on lighting your subject that really goes in depth with not only the setup but gives information on light settings and camera settings?

umphotography grabbing their Johnson More info | Mar 06, 2014 11:49 | #2 This question cannot be answered. There is no specific camera setting or power settings on a video light because the ambient lighting you are in is the deciding factor. Also styles come into play here. For me, I want just enough light to get the shadows out of the eye sockets and to create a catchlight in the eyes. So my power levels are traditionally very low on the video lights and i shoot at higher iso's in AV mode so that i can hand hold an accomplish my goals. Mike

They keep on going ![]() I love video lights so im going to replace them for better ones this season. Im trying to find nice quality round lights v/s the square ones. But these at B&H are excellent,, but expensive http://www.bhphotovideo.com …1x1_ls_daylight_spot.html Those are way out of my league as far as price goes. Website

stsva Cream of the Crop More info | Mar 06, 2014 14:49 | #6 I'm assuming you're looking for a video about lighting, not about video lights per se. I'd suggest looking for videos by Joe McNally and/or Zach Arias. They both have videos on YouTube, and possibly some for sale also (Zach Arias has a new version of his One Light video available for pre-order here http://dedpxl.com/product/onelight/ Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.
