I just got a 5D II and my first 35mm prime lens. I'm new to both. I also have a 70-200 L- series. I would love to see examples of shots you've taken with this camera and those lenses. (I hope this is the right place for the post.)

Your better bet is to look into the lens sample threads for each lens.

Question would be how big you want those pictures, just to look at the pictures itself, or to "Pixel-peep" the sharpness, etc?

Anyway, here are some, please note these are on my Facebook, so not the best quality as FB does reduce the quality of the pictures:
All with the 5D Mk II, and the 70-200 2.8 IS II

Thanks. I did that. Just wanted to see how they worked with this camera.

Just the pictures. I'd like to see what people are doing with them, how far they can go with these set-ups, and how they decide to use the lenses.

There are three different Canon EF 35mm prime lenses, plus Sigma and Rokinon/Samyang, probably some others I'm forgetting....

And there are five different EF 70-200L lenses...

Depending upon exactly which lenses you have, search here for examples made with those specific lenses and 5DII...

https://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=107

For more general usage ideas, I'd look at any full frame camera model used with the lenses.

This is the lens sample thread gonzogolf refered to.

Shot these on my 5DmkII and a rented 70-200 2.8II using only available light. If only I could afford to buy a 70-200 2.8II.... It's a phenominal lens, and IMO makes a great combo with the 5DmkII.

Those are great! Was that overhead halogen lighting? What settings did you use?

Thnaks! For the first, overhead lights were flourecent with 20+ foot ceilings. That was taken backstage while her team was waiting to start warming-up. The last 3 were in the competiton area which was a huge arena with either halogen or mercury lights. I had to color correct them in LR because SOOC they were VERY red.

I was shooting wide open at 2.8, ISO 3200, 1/400 on the shutter (if I rememember right), and +2 EV for the last 3 shots. The setting were probably different for the first shot, but I can't remember to be honest.

I haven't used EV yet, how do you tend to use it?
