Hi all

Having an issue with my canon 7d...

I have been using magic lantern on my 7d for a while now and not had any problems...

Then the other day this happened:

I only saw this afterwards as when I was recording the footage looked fine on the viewfinder...

Its really weird because it starts fine then switches to pixelated... has anyone had any similar problems or can think of what the problem could be?

much appreciated thanks in advance!

Link doesn't work for me. I am guessing the issue may be the sensor overheating. Does the camera shut down right after this starts?

Sorry - try the link again that should work now...

No the camera carries on recording... Which is strange... The actual duration of the clip is 13 minutes but I have only uploaded the first bit...

Thanks for the reply!

Have you tried recording without ML on another card?

No/yes - this is the first time this has happened and we have been using ML for a year now with no problems. All the cards have been used on the same day. We carried on filming and only got this on one clip when we started viewing footage. We have filmed on the same camera with a different card so yeah it could be the card... will run a test this after noon and let you know if the card is the problem...

Thanks
