Found this little one napping in a tree today, enjoying the sunshine :) I only discovered him after hearing the crows bitchin..

I was watching 'Hope for Wildlife' the other night & Hope was saying when there's an owl around, the crows will be 'bitchin' (she didn't use that word, but I did) :) So when I heard them today I looked & there he/she was...thrilled to get it, my first 'Barred' <3 Thanks for the comments John!

Very nice. A friend of mine posted a photo of one today on Facebook. Only about 12 miles from me. She watched him catch a vole this afternoon. Oh and Bluejays make a lot of racket when danger is around too!

Thanks Sandy! Keep watching, hopefully you'll find one.. They're sure pretty. Bluejays seem to be squacking a lot lately, didn't know if it was because Spring is in the air, or what... will keep more of an eye out there for the cause :)
