I have tried to activate the live view screen on my canon T1I but have had no success. I've followed the procedure listed as in the manual with no change> Thanks

In one of the menus, you will have to set the LiveView: Enable/Disable to Enable. Then, to activate it you press the button on the back of the camera near the viewfinder.
