Spring Training Twins at Pirates

I'm getting a chance to shoot some spring training. I'm actually shooting video for my job but also getting the chance to get pics too. I rented a 100-400L and have fallen in love with it... all shots with a 40D. Can't believe the speed of the game but I have several more games to shoot and hopefully I can adjust.

Not bad, but I'm wondering why you're not shooting vertically? The last begs for a vertical crop, or better, shot vertically. Also, how did he get it for Twitter?

On the batter shots, if you shoot through their swings when they hit the ball, they will bring their faces up and follow path of ball...will be much better shots when you can see their faces....#2 would be deleted in camera for me, simply for that reason. Last two are best of the group. Keep at it!

just personal preference on the shot... I liked the crowd behind him. He's pretty active on Twitter so I just tweeted it out to him. He's a pretty funny guy.
