More info | Mar 09, 2014 14:04 | #1 Hi, I put an old battery from my das original Canon eos, It got stuck a bit but i got it out ok. I put my battery back in but my camera never came on. I charged it up but still no joy, so I thought that the battery was dead. I bought a new battery and tried that after charging it but that didn't work either. I then noticed a smaller battery which I replaced, but it still won't turn on. Is there a fuse somewhere on the camera as I can't find my book to see.

runninmann what the heck do I know?  More info | Mar 09, 2014 20:24 | #3 Welcome to POTN. It's possible that you damaged some of the contacts in the battery compartment by attempting to install the wrong battery. Do you see anything that looks out of whack when you inspect the battery compartment?

Hi, No everything looks fine. I think that I may have to send it to the Camera Doc near where I live. This is typical as I need it for my cousins wedding next month.
