So today, out of the blue, the button that ejects the CF card out of my 7D became frozen. It won't push in... It doesn't move at at all and as such, the CF card 'ejector' mechanism doesn't work.

I can remove the card manually by grabbing it with my fingernails and pulling it out. I performed a visual inspection of the insides of the CF card slot and can't see anything bent or broken. The card still slips into place properly and all camera functions work normally.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so, is there a quick fix or does it have to go in to the shop?
