S120 Star mode question

I have a S120 on the way and it should be here tomorrow. During capturing an image during the Star Mode is it captured in RAW or JPEG? Thanks.

Since I got to play with this tonight I see that the night scene photos are captured as Fine JPEG only.

I got to snap one photo before the rain came pouring down. The clouds and trees were blurry due to the wind blowing furiously.

8 sec exposure F/1.8 ISO 500

The rain finally subsided and I took this 30 minute exposure tonight, The moon was way too bright though and it would work better during the new moon.

F/1.8 ISO 200.
