From my research over the last couple of years (because I like and own over 20 Photogenic 1250DR Monolights), here's my opinion of the current market value of the Photogenic Monolights based on eBay "Buy and Sales"…..

Photogenic PL600 = +/- $150
Photogenic 1500SL = +/-$200
Photogenic 1250 = $200-$250
Photogenic 1250DR = $250-$300

And that's if you have the Lighting Unit, Flash Tube, Modeling Light, Modeling Light Cover, 7" Standard Reflector, and Power Cord and considering that everything functions properly and is in cosmetically great shape…..

Got the chance to buy 2 1500R 1500W/s and Bogen stands with casters for $275. Wondering if I should pull the trigger?

If they're in pretty good shape and perfect working order….. Heck Yea!
When you consider a Bogen Rolling Stand is included, that's like "Buy One/Get One Free"…..

Even though I personally own and use the Photogenic 1250DR's, I, for the last 25 years, have shot and helped my close friend at his studio and he has used the Photogenic 1500SL's for the last 15+ years (literally on a weekly basis - his studio is basically "my" studio).... What's your question and I'm pretty sure I can answer it for you.....

No, they are 600ws…..
Yes, they have built in optical slaves, so when one fire (or any flash for that matter), so will the other…..

::They should look like this::

As the Loft Studios mentions, the true electrical storage is not reflected in the model name. Buff started the 'power output like X' effective output naming convention in the White Lightning (X) series. I witnessed a shoot out at a tradeshow, in which the Photogenic 600 output was clearly superior to the White Lightning 1200 (IIRC) in every type of test, and I ended up jokingly writing that they should use the optimistic model numbers just like Buff. Much to my chagrin, they did adopt that, as the model number 1250 and 1500 exhibit.

I bought the lights today from the seller and one is Photogenic 1500R and one is 1500SL along with 2 Bogen 3078 13" stands with casters. This man was very generous he also threw in 2 36" Westcott umbrellas and and a 15ft cable to hook flash to camera just in case triggers malfunction. I think I got a good deal.

Thanks to Loft Studios and Wilt for your information.
