This is the closest section I could find, I hope it is right.

Long time lurker, getting serious about things so I you guys might be stuck with me! I am a career firefighter who keeps his camera close by at all times. I don't usually post too much of actual calls for obvious reasons. Here are a few shots from different events I have had the pleasure of capturing. I was asked in a recent critique to keep the pics coming as they were different. I am WIDE open to suggestions and criticism; I am here to learn.

A recent bit of training, this was a car fire simulator.

Some more training, playing a game of "beat the deck gun" where you have to establish a water supply from the hydrant while the deck gun is flowing water from the tank. You don't have long and have to be on your A game!

The rural county departments doing some training. Took the kid with me and snapped a few shots. I call this one "The Proving Grounds"

George, this is a great idea. I'm in FF1 right now and trying to do pics while I'm taking the class at the same time...lol The instructors don't seem to mind.

What do you think about just making this a fire thread and everyone adding firefighting pics here?

The next live fire I'll be going up for the Saturday class so I can just spend my time taking pictures.

Yeah, it's my favorite too, I posted it on my facebook page and a lot of the local firefighters wanted to see another shot of the truck as they had used the truck years ago on their own departments.
