Not sure why I haven't needed to do this in the last 5 years but, I would like to now and just spent an hour searching for how to do it and I can't find it anywhere.
Is it not possible?

It can be filtered by threads that I have posted in, or threads that I started. Further, also be filtered by Form and SubForum. So, if you want to find the thread you started, and you know that it was in Birds, then Advanced Search is your tool. .
