It might mean absolutely nothing, but it is interesting. they discounted the 60D shortly before the 70D was announced

rjharris Goldmember More info | Mar 22, 2014 09:50 | #37 If it's still a crop sensor (probably) then 19 points with a slightly improved focus system is fine, maybe 2 or 3 more megapixels, and 1.5 - 2 stops better iso quality and I think it will be a winner. Frame rate is decent enough but maybe 1 or 2 faster. Buffer is fine for what I do. Oh, a lockable dial would be nice.
