Found a group of these at the refuge today - SW Washington state. I'm assuming some sort of piper but the beak looks really odd. This shot is cropped quite a bit as they were rather camera shy.

Great shot, finding one out in the open like that. Thanks, they are skittish. These both are severe crops from my 7D, shot with a 70-200/2.8 w/2x extender at the full 400mm. And they aren't a big bird either. Dave
