AF Point Shifting Down on 5Dc

Anyone here had any issues with their center AF point shifting? I.e, not dead center but either to the bottom or sides in reference to the OVF center point?

Have anyone here been in a scenario where they've had to change the AF sensor unit?

Just want to get an idea of how rare or common this issue is.

Mine has done that from new. The actual AF points are below the markings in the viewfinder. They don't shift from shot to shot, but are at a constant offset. My solution was to fit the Ee-S screen so I could see exactly what was being locked on to.

I never sent it in for repair - Canon didn't claim the viewfinder to be 100%, and the reason for non-100% finders is to let the manufacturer relax precision.

Thx for your feedback.

I never noticed it before and as far as I recalled, it was never an issue until lately.

I had Canon test the AF and their conclusion was "AF focus inconsistent even after software calibration".
