I have this question for 6d owners.. If money wasn't an issue or they were both the same price which one would you choose??
No doubt...5D3. BTW, size is an issue every time you pick up the camera to take a pic...nothing else necessarily is.

I don't always need that high ISO but it's nice to know the 6D holds detail/color/noise better That and lower price the reason for all the haters. 6D|7D|7DMKII|Nikon D750|Nikon 85 F1.8|Nikon D5500|G15| Gripped|300F4|35F2IS|85 F1.8|135L F2|200L F2.8|17-55 F2.8|70-200L F2.8 MKII|430EX|

Mar 19, 2014 18:18 | #259 Well the only solution is to keep the 6D, add the 5D3 and also add the 70D and most possibly include the 1Dx also. A7rIII | A7III | 12-24 F4 | 16-35 GM | 28-75 2.8 | 100-400 GM | 12mm 2.8 Fisheye | 35mm 2.8 | 85mm 1.8 | 35A | 85A | 200mm L F2 IS | MC-11

It is brilliantly simple and effective. Light and comfortable to hold. The AF works perfectly fine for my needs. Landscapes, action and the odd portrait. The controls are spot on for my hands. And when I shoot some photos in dim dark difficult lighting conditions, it absolutely floors me what I can achieve. I can easily afford the 5D3, even both, but deliberately chose the 6

I tend to think his inability to accept that many of us want more from a body than the 6D can provide leads us to be "haters". That is definitely not the case as each of us has their own criteria of what we either want or need in a body. Flickr

Did you ever get around to taking and posting some photos with the outer focusing points of the 6d set to ai servo? I could have sworn I saw you at last night's hockey game taking pics with all the other sports photogs. Flickr

I have to say 6d, due to size and ease of use. I just sold my 5dii just to go lighter. I think the 5diii would be heavier and more complex. Robin

I would never attempt that, and neither should anyone else. IMO, use AI Servo Automatic only on the 6D for moving subjects... Dave

Are you acknowledging that the outer points on 6D are unreliable for moving subjects and therefore shouldn't be used at all?
