Alveric, that is not a sling strap. That is for wearing around one's neck.

OP, for a sling strap, I personally like the Luma Cinch.

Ooops. Well, I'd use the Upstrap as a sling one. Is there a strict definition for 'neck strap' and 'sling strap'? Not trying to be argumentative, just don't want to provide bad recommendations. :o

I know you are not trying to start an argument :P. Yes, a sling strap is designed to go across the body and point the lens either to the side or down. If you try to use a neck strap as a sling, your lens will be pointing straight out. :)

I love my BosStrap, http://www.amazon.com …rds=bosstrap+camera+strap (external link)
It's a sling style and the camera is attached to one of the camera strap lugs. I modified mine so I can detach it from the camera.

I use two of these for the cameras http://www.bhphotovideo.com …QcArg&is=REG&Q=&A=details (external link)

Both clips when it's going to be a while, one when I'm actively shooting, so the strap doesn't get in my face.

BlackRapid for the long lenses going to the tripod socket. Using the BR with cameras hasn't worked out so well for me. the body has a tendency to catch on loop, then as I walk shift and without warning take the 1.5in or so drop, no harm done to the gear, but it was only a matter of time where the sudden fear of the gear dropping caused heart failure.
