Hi all,

I'm at the point now with my Photoshop skills that it's time to start using a tablet for post-processing.

A really good local photog recommended that I get a Wacom tablet and that once I'm used to it I will look at the mouse with disdain and disgust! :):)

My question is what size tablet will be best for me? I'm leaning toward the medium size one, but wondering if there is any reason to get the larger one.

Any input/advice will be greatly appreciated!

My take is that the Large is more suited for wide-scale graphics, and that people who do photo editing, things like selections and cloning and such, things requiring more local detail, prefer the Medium or the Small.

But that's just my take, I'd say you could benefit from trying one out if you have a person or a store nearby!

Thanks! Too bad both Calumet and Helix Camera are out of business in the Chicago area.

I agree with Tony that most prefer a Medium or Small for photo editing. I have a Medium Intuos4, which has been perfect for me. I only wish the form factor was a bit smaller as I don't have a very big desk space.

Wrong type of tablet. The OP is asking about pen tablets like an Intuos :)

Any wacom will improve. I prefer medium... middle of the road.

First step........ Take the lens cap off.
