This is probably the rarest bird I have ever seen in my backyard. Its a common Greater Antillean Grackle which usually is all black. Ive read of some rare individuals showing some white feathers. This guy is something else. I searched the net for anything similar but found nothing. Ive seen perhaps one tiny spot in some but never like this.

Fascinating coloration.

I once encountered a crow with white spots on it and found out it was a leucistic crow. He had defined patterns on the under wings. Something causes the loss of color in sections of the feathers.

Very cool looking bird Oscar. Kinda like the Dalmatian of birds only reversed. :)
