Well if you looked right from here it was over denver. This night was Oct 4 last year. Went for a walk with my Brother and SIL and niece I was visiting to get some sunset light shots of them, as we were leaving these were the sky's probally the best sky's I had on my two weeks out there touring Utah and Co.

Bluffs regional park. if I lived there I'd be there everytime a storm rolled in, soo high up here for a park in the city.

here's 6

I've been trying to figure out where this was taken. I recognize DTC and the 470 area, I can tell it's facing north and somewhere south of Highlands Ranch, I just can't figure out where!

Pete your slacking man, dude I was there once and look at the pics above, pretty darn spiffy I think. you are not trying hard enough! ahaha yeah like I alluded too I lucked out with those layers of clouds and colors this night for some neat compositions..

that being said there really is not nothing in those rolling hills of that park to be interesting in, nothing really to anchor a good landscape shot. but I was just there photographing my family and was'nt looking for a landscape shot. these were all handheld with my 70-200 and the rented 5DII.. but yeah that park is pretty high and like I said would be sweet to watch weather come in over the Rockys.

I've actually never even heard of that park. I usually head to Green Mountain for sunset shots.

Nice series!

Slacking? Dude...Denver sunsets are dime a dozen! I am a MOUNTAIN man. :D :D :D

FWIW, I live on the opposite end of town, so I don't often think about rolling down that way for sunset!
