Great White Heron

This morph of the Great Blue Heron is usually found only in South Florida. Easily mistaken for a Great Egret, you can tell the difference by the beak and the yellow legs, even though this bird has some mud on his. Taken at the Loop Road, which I'm so happy is accessible again, as it gives me another great S Florida spot to visit and shoot. Beautiful area that shouldn't be missed. This bird is a regular there if you want to see something rather unique.

Great pic, I'm just starting to pick up some gear again after selling it all off to buy a boat, So soon I will be back to doing the loop road, Jane's scenic driveway and my favorite Corkscrew sanctuary.
