Leucistic dark-eyed junco?

Am I correct on my ID with just the head area white?
This was taken this afternoon in NE TN.
I just happened to see this little fellow out back and grabbed my camera. Maybe I can get a better capture if he sticks around. Thanks in advance.

I would say it is a possibility Barry. Nice shot.

I always enjoy looking at the leucistic variations of birds. Every instance is different. This bird has obvious head leucism, but the Juncos that I have seen tend to have wing leucism as their most common occurance.

I also enjoy your Slate-colored morph of the DEJU, ours are the "boring" Oregon Junco.

Thanks Jeff, John and Evan. This little fellow is still around this morning. He looks like a tiny bald eagle among all the other Juncos. He appears healthy in every other respect but sure does stand out.
