Very excited to have booked my family a trip to Yellowstone this coming winter. This trip was prodded along by another member who is putting together a photography trip. After talking with my wife we decided we wanted to also take our daughter and a trip with just our family would probably be the better choice. So after getting up early on Saturday I was able to get our reservations all made (Saturday was opening day for winter 2015 reservations).
Day 1 Fly into Bozeman and drive to Mammoth
Day 2 Full day Snowcoach tour to Canyon area overnight at Mammoth
Day 3 Lamar Valley and Snowshoeing overnight at Mammoth
Day 4 Lamar Valley and Snowshoeing overnight at Mammoth
Day 5 Take a snowcoach to Old Faithful staying in a cabin, we also have a night tour planned.
Day 6 Snowshoeing overnight at OF
Day 7 100 mile Snowmobile tour of the lower loop and overnight at OF
Day 8 Snowshoeing overnight at OF
Day 9 Snowchach back to Mammoth
Day 10 drive back to Bozeman for a late afternoon flight home
Super excited, now to figure out a way to upgrade bodies and pick up the new Tamron 150-600.
