Just a headshot from yesterday, as we had some time left after a shoot we did for a latex designer...

Hope you like it :)

She is beautiful and your photo does her justice. The hair light is great. My only nitpick would be that her skin looks a bit over sharpened.

Your crop shows too much of her upper chest with nothing there to see.

Thanks for the comments folks..

Yes, crops for head shots are usually 8x10.. However images from this shoot are going to magazines for the MUA.. Hence the standard crop.. And I chose chest space over dead space...

Not sure what you mean about being over sharpened on the skin though? There has been no sharpening on the skin... Only places of detail such as eyes and hair and jewelry. even that was very subtle sharpening..

Again, thanks for your comments! :)

I see what Dan is noticing and I agree that there is a tiny bit too much detail in her skin. Her complexion is very nice and I can understand why you didn't overprocess her face...but that being said, most glamour shots do use at least a little skin softening. I ran your pic through a very quick and light edit with portrait pro and I do agree that it looks better with a little processing.....a very little indeed. I am taking nothing away from your shot though, as it is very nice just the way it is.
