Maybe I should ask in a Forum for mechanics, but here we go:

I want to make a stand for my paperbackgrounds.

Today I have a wall mount similar to this:http://famcart.com.my …20Bracket/ps32-1-1500.jpg (external link)

Where I now will be able to use my Studio Lighting and background "doesn't have any wall" (Hard to explain, but basicly a wide corridor where I can use the middle of it as a studio).
So I will need a stable stand for the backgrounds.

Googled a little bit on stands, and realised that I have access to a lot of steel here at work (square steel for example) and I actually know my way around a welder ;)
And I can use all of this virtually for free.

So if i make two stable stands and screw my wallhanger to these, that would work right?

The question is, how should they look approximately?
Thoughts, ideas, drawings, dimensions or anything?

What height should I make them?

Thinking about setting some wheels on them to easily be able to roll it to the side when not in use...
