Yeah, but unlike us a few of them tend to go away fast. ;)

Too true. A few always died every year. Too big a bike and too little experience. It was a local forum too which made it even worse as personalities could actually meet. It was worse in the winter.

Yes, but if you don't log in you can still view crap

Why wouldn't you log in?

Assuming you aren't seeking crap to view, the best solution is the lazy solution: don't bother to log out.

It's what I do.

Well as of now flowrider you're either logged out or in invisible mode.

... Violating the 4 week repost rule ...

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the 4 week repost rule? I looked through the "rules" and "primer" and did not see anything. I then tried a search and it returned nothing as well.

If I'm not here then of course I look offline because I am. But if I navigate to the site it automatically logs in. Of course I could be invisible too!

Most times I'm not logged in simply because I have no intention to post anything. I'm looking for information or reading through stickys but in doing so inevitably run across crap posts. I don't spend the majority of my online time visiting POTN so I see no reason to stay logged in.

Maybe POTN is a little too adult for you. HERE IS SOMETHING (external link) that may be more your speed.

Perfect example of a crap post. Thanks for the validation;)

I think the moderation team does a great job overall despite the increased membership. I've praised them many times. However, the current configuration is under staffed. I'm guessing the "new software" has a built in moderator that can take care of these things?

Sure, there'll be an AI moderator that Pekka has programmed to detect crap posts as they're written and suppress them before they can appear on your screen. All the members will likewise be replaced by AIs. I wouldn't have thought it possible!

Aren't all moderators/administrators programed robots...it is working though. Pekka's master plan.

Oh, Mr. CyberDyne, I just noticed you were an Administrator. Congratulations! It seems like only yesterday you were 'retiring' from photography. Glad that didn't stick.
