I never shot a 1D MK IV before so i can't give you any kind of comparison as to what you are used to seeing. Keep in mind the 5D3 is full frame so you will lose some of your normal zoom compared to having a crop factor camera. I currently use a 1D4 but need another body. I'm considering a used/refurbished 1D4 or a new 5D3 for air shows. Any opinion? Thanks. Few Canons...few lenses...
