Winter loosens its grip

After a winter of unending polar vortex its great to see a bit of free water.
Plant life is waiting.

The landscape around here is devastated by 3 months of hard winter.
It was an interesting challenge to stand still, look around and find something interesting.
The reflected triangles of the broken cattails were the first things to stand out.
