Hi,

I'm not able to adjust F in AV or M mode in Canon EOS 60d.
It's always in MF mode even though the lens is in AF mode.

I'm using 18-135 mm lens.

I thought there's some problem in the camera. So, sent it to Canon Service Center for a repair. Today I got back my camera. But still the issue is not resolved.
Pls refer the attached pic.

I'm not able to adjust F00 and MF

Really appreciate help in this regard.

Thanks,
Srimaya Rath

Looks like the lens is faulty, inspect and clean the contacts on the lens side.

F/00 means the camera does not know a lens is attached, or knows it can't adjust the aperture on the lens that is attached. Clean all contacts between the lens and the body.

Make sure you have a good battery, well charged. If using a grip, take it off.

Put another lens on the camera. If it works the issue is your lens.

Then it must be the camera body that is at fault here. Send it back to Canon for repair, and be sure to include that picture of the back LCD screen showing f00.

And include the lens it's not working with. Which seems to be any of those you have at hand.

looks like a camera issue but before sending it to Canon take the battery out and make sure it's completely recharged

I'd also reflash the firmware, even if current. Some strange behavior has on occasion been corrected in that manner.
