Hi I have a canon 60D with a 18-135mm and a sandisk ultra 32GB.
I have been trying to shoot long exposure at night (60 sec+), I'm wanting to do star trails.
The problem I have been having is after the first picture has been taken, it says "busy" and won't let me take another shot for up to twenty seconds. I also shoot in RAW. please help

Yep, it's LENR. Once your exposure is done, Long exposure noise reduction take another exact picture... but with the shutter closed. It compares the 2 images, and deletes the noise and hot pixels associated with long exposure shots.

While a great feature, that works well, it does add time to your shooting. If you shoot a 30sec shot, it will take another 30 sec. shot. 30:00, you have to wait another 30:00! When activated, it starts at any exposure of 1 second or longer.

Heya,

As others stated, long exposure noise reduction. Turn it off.

I do 4+ minute exposures at night on a tracker. It's brutal to sit and wait with that enabled. Plus, it's nothing great that you cant already do in post.

Very best,
