I'm getting very fed-up seeing this message constantly on my screen. There is no update for PC's, only Macs, so I'd like to get rid of it but cannot.

Anyone got an idea how I can achieve it?

I don't own the product but the message is telling you that the current monitor profile is too old. If you launch the Eye One software, there must be a setting somewhere in the Preferences or Help that allows you to set the amount of time before this warning appears. So open the program and go through the options carefully and you'll likely see a setting to change.

But there is no update available for my PC, only Macs. So why the message anyway?

This rubbish is the downside of computers!

It has NOTHING to do with updates for your software, why is that so hard to understand? This is all localized to your computer, you need to change the frequency setting for how often you update your monitor profile.

For example, I use ColorEyes Display Pro monitor calibration software and I have it set to remind me that the profile should be updated every 15 days. I can set it to any interval I want and I suspect that if you did the same the error message will go away.

Oh, I see, so updating my monitor will get rid of this?

Sorry, but part of my brain died some 3 and a bit years ago and much of what I knew just vanished overnight. Certainly my memory is pathetic!

The message is to remind you to recalibrate and profile your display. The way to make it go away is to recalibrate and profile your display. While you are at it, turn off the reminder within the iOne software if you do not want to be bothered again.
