:D I cant believe it I was waiting for stock of the 150-600mm to come into wex photographic 30 are due in and 15 have been sold .
so I left my contact detail with them still no phone call 2 week later and im realy getting itchy trigger finger by now and needing a lens so I do a quick look the archive on the potn 400 5,6 to make sure this is the lens ,( I didn't realy need to as ive been looking on and off for years).

well last saturaday I went to wex and thay had 1 in stock and now well lets just say it sits on the mk2n lovely.

now ive had bigma ,bigmos ,bigtammy don't get me wrong good lens if you can fill your frame or close to but what they cant do is crop like this lens and that is my soul perpuse for the lens being able to crop when thing just aren't prochable .

here's 2 shot's from the other day
apart from adding the frame shot to crop they are straight from camera.

well as you can see these are extreme and as ive only got 8 MP I don't think these are bad and certainly better that any of my old zoom.

many thanks

The proof is in the pudding. Those are some heavy crops that look very good.
Congrats on the new lens. I would like to get one but can't justify it with my 100-400L.
