Trying out my newly acquired 1Dx with EF500/4ISL MKI +1.4TC III, unfortunately lighting was not ideal. So far I am quite happy (coming from 1D4 and 5D3).

Great in flight shots. I would say greater scaup because of the nice long bright wing stripe, roundish head, and thick bill.

Well done, a greater scaup. Lessers have the white stripe on the wing only half way.
