I'd go for the 5Dc as well. It's definitely usable at 1600, but I often get banding at 3200.

Noise was the 5Dc's strong point when it was introduced - but that was a while ago and is no longer the case! Though the noise is nicer - there is more of it! As to the AF points, I find the outer focus points OK'ish but the center point will AF in lower light then my (just sold) 1D Mk4 - not too bad for a camera that is available at such low prices. Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

smythie I wasn't even trying More info | Mar 23, 2014 19:24 | #20 The 1D4 had less than stellar low light AF performance unfortunately. It was well known to be slightly worse than the 5D2 which AFAIK wasn't any better than the 5D.
