Been around for a while just haven't posted before, here goes, first post.

A couple from yesterday, usually use a 70-300 L but had a go with a 100-400. Wanted to know if the extra 100 was worth it, seems to be quite capable even at 400 providing you have the light, although I think it best with a mono pod (old shaky hands)

Thanks, wasn't sure about the 100-400 lens when at Combe but having looked at the pics from the day I have to admit I'm tempted.

Thanks Peter, pretty sure we were chatting yesterday at Combe about lenses. If so, nice to meet you.

my attempt at panning but not really that slow a shutter:rolleyes: only down to 1/125 not sure if that's panning really, although these are with the 100-400. Practice practice and more.

Did you get the sparks, single seater?
