issuing a refund at this point, does it correct that mistake?

Im not not answering calls. I am answering all my calls.
They have not called me since.

I got a really weird call yesterday....you have to listen to this....talk about talking about terrorists funnily enough...the bank called me and the police captured a "terrorist" and he had a copy of my bank card. So they had to cancel all my bank cards. I had the card on me! And he stole my identity identifying himself at me.......anyways thats one of the weirder things that has happened to me lately, just had to share.

Right now im too scared to answer the phone.

So you've stopped being a scardey cat. And apparently started reading my posts again.

Anyone who continues to believe that the OP is participating in this thread in good faith should read the quoted post. Terrorists stealing identities is pretty big news. Police capturing terrorists would probably be even bigger news. Have you been interviewed by the FBI yet? Or by "terrorist" did you actually mean "not a terrorist?"

Somehow I doubt we will see this story on the front pages anywhere.

Out of curiosity: have you actually told the person you agreed to refund that you are now not going to return the money? Have they "not called you since" because you told them the check was in the mail?

If I recall correctly he told them on the phone he would give a refund and then contacted them within a few minutes to tell them he was not giving a refund.

Wow, just like the issue porky has, the thread is also dragging on and on. It looks like porky somehow likes this because he keeps coming back and now talking even about his personal life.

But don't get me wrong. I've packed a lot of useful tips for future and the thread is interesting to read. ;)

But not a place to learn:rolleyes:

Throughout this thread you've thanked people for help and argued with others because you don't like their tone (even though the advice is identical), meanwhile you have learned nothing.

Agreed.

I actually thought for a second that porky101 is a troll. The way of communicating and the issue were all pointing to that direction.

Phil,

Let me make this clear to you and anyone else incase there is confusion.

I am here to learn, from certain people.

Not from you, I dont like your tone or general negativity.
Not from Banquetbear, I dont like his tone either.

Gonzo golf I will listen to and the Moose dude.

And a few others I think have worthwhile advice.

I am not saying your advice is bad, im simply saying I dont like you or banquetbear and I dont care what you have to say.

I am not saying this to be mean or nasty to you. I just know there is positive people and negative people in the world and I will only listen to the ones I feel are positive.

There is nothing further to discuss on my choice on who to listen to or interact with.

I have admitted it time and time again, I made a mistake. I never handled it nearly as well as I could have.

Well this is fun.

The advice is the same whether you like the tone or not.

But this is the first time you've admitted you have made a mistake. If you have someone who you can trust, who's intelligent and will be honest with you, have them read the thread and point out all the negative and aggressive language to you. And ask them to show you where you ever admitted you were wrong.

It's not me or banquetbear that turned this thread into a drama. We are genuinely trying to help. You should remember we're not Americans, we don't believe that adults need advice couching in platitudes.

I have only met phil v once, last year, but came across as very knowledgeable, and willing to help fellow pros and novices alike. His posts in this thread back that up.

Now, please back to the entertianment, I have popcorn handy.
