So I just bought a 120-300

Landed a good deal to pass up so now need to decide on this or the 300 and if I keep the 120-300 should I just dump the Tamron 70-200.

Many choices.

If you don't mind the weight for traveling, just go ahead. I bought the 120-300 for kids ball games and not try out for travelling yet, so can't make up my mind as well.

Sell the Tamron to fund a 70-200 f/4 IS. One light lens when you don't need 300mm or f/2.8. One behemoth that does both when you need either.

weight not an issue. When it is I carry 35/85/135

In that case, unload the 70-200. It is redundant.

Interesting decision 300 or 120-300... Both produce great images.. Zoom more flexible .

So it will be interesting to see which one you go with and why.

I plan on putting the 300 and the Sigma at 300 through my typical review comparison as I've done with the Tamron 70-200.
