Some bird ruined my sun photo..

Was taking my daily sunspot photo the other day and this happy accident happened. My guess is the hawk(red tail?) that's been hanging around recently but I am by no means an expert... especially with just a silhouette .

It's not something I could even remotely plan for, but I'm really glad it happened.

Gear wise..7D, Sigma 150-500+1.4x, f/8, 1/2000s, 200ISO, and a Baader Solar filter Focus was on the sun

Absolutely.... Coronal Mass Ejections have nothing Killer Sun Birds.

I'm glad nobody was around when I first saw this scrolling through pics on the LCD... I was scared to death I had fried my sensor!
