We have a Lantana, and I never noticed that it made little bow ties at the centers of flower clusters.

So here's a possible theme: NARROW SPACES. Photos of them, such as crevices in rock, or photos taken through them such as a landscape through a knothole or between fence boards, or shots that you had to squeeze into a space to get.

Good scheme...should be an interesting challenge!

I think that's a wonderful idea...

I believe that the cable company's modem is done for..
The tech rerouted my internet through my telephone modem, as all come through the
router..
Things are rolling along just fine for now..but it could be the line, the modem, the box on the pole...who knows!?

Wow...page 7!

Nice pansies, Andy.

Beautiful morning glory, John.

Nice interpretation, OhLook. (I like your challenge idea.)

Fantastic collection, Joayne. Tiny succulent, lantana and the cactus blossom are probably my fav's.

The wisteria in my yard are just starting to bloom. There's only a couple so far and they're in a hard spot to get to. This is my favorite picture and the only keeper out of the bunch.

The second would be my pick. I wouldn't have recognized either of them as wisteria because they don't show foot-long "bunch of grapes" formations. Wisteria has been blooming down in the flats for at least two weeks. I photographed it in a front yard during a walk sometime before we left for Yosemite on the 17th and didn't get one shot I liked enough to keep.

Thanks, Joayne and OhLook. I was having a hard time editing that second one and didn't think it was going to turn out. I was getting frustrated because that was the shot I was looking forward to editing. 4th times a charm. :)

Hopefully they will find out what's wrong with your connection and fix it! Over here if something is wrong with your connection, the companies usually assume it's your fault (wrong cables, loose cables, splitters, you name it) and it will take ages for them to come and investigate and -if you're lucky- fix it.

I had a wireless modem a few years ago that gave me little shocks every time I picked up the phone. The company said it couldn't, but it did. One night I picked up the phone, there was a loud thump, a crackling sound and the phone was kaput. I disconnected the modem and have never gone wireless again for my internet and phone.
