Love those playful falls with the water popping out from different directions.
For a portrait of the falls its tough lighting with the falls mostly in shade compared with the foreground water and the rock wall to the right.

This would look great with the right light (ie sunrise or sunset times)

Had a 6D....
Then had a daughter....
Now have an SL2 and Mavic Pro.... Man life changes.
I would encourage you... To just go for it.

Many thanks for your comments . . . especially for twisting my arm to get out there when the light is better. This was my first time hiking to this falls. Next time I’ll try for better light. Much appreciated!
