I've been a manual shooter from the time I started shooting about 3 1/2 years ago. But I'm tryin to experiment with AV mode because I've heard a couple of photogs whose workshops I've gone to explain how they use it during weddings. I used it a little the last wedding I shot & was pretty pleased with it most of the time, but what kept stumping me was when I wanted to underexpose - I'm so used to dialing up the shutter speed, but of course you can't do that in AV mode. What's the quickest way with the Canon 5D MKIII?

Just adjust your exposure compensation, that's how you tell the camera to expose lighter or darker in AV mode.
