Hey guys, I got bored at the office today and was trying to put off working on editing a particularly boring video together for my employers and decided to retouch one of my photos from last years Import Alliance. What do you guys think? This was pretty much a 100% no pressure edit that I did just to kill time so what do you guys think.

In the after shot he looks sunburned.

In my monitor the after pic looks strangely pinkish and slightly overexposed with poor contrast. Original one looks much better. I would have stopped with the corrections done over his face and left the rest as it was.

I agree that the colour is better in the 1st but the exposure better in the 2nd....and clever hiding of the logo so as not to distract. You might also want to up the contrast a bit.

I don't have anything to add that others have not already pointed out, and I am in a conference call and you have editing turned on.... SO....I hope you don't mind!

I played with the levels and masked out most of the pic to bring some light to his right side. Then I warmed the tones a bit. Next I fixed just the blemishes on the skin and lightened and sharpened the eyes.

Outta be a lesson learned...don't shoot portraits with a WA lens as it distorts the face. ;)
