I played with the levels and masked out most of the pic to bring some light to his right side. Then I warmed the tones a bit. Next I fixed just the blemishes on the skin and lightened and sharpened the eyes.

Outta be a lesson learned...don't shoot portraits with a WA lens as it distorts the face. The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.
