But to bring a little bit of dissent to the thread, I think you would be crazy to stop an artistic pursuit because some people (on the innernet !) don't like this particular rendition. Maybe we have bad taste. Maybe this particular piece is in fact bad but through refinement over time the process could result in images that are universally lauded--or not. At the very least, you're experimenting, which is great.

I agree completely. I don't care for this particular image, but that's me. I really think you should keep playing around with whatever floats your boat.

Besides, if you're having fun, you're doing something right. Having fun is what it's all about.

As for art, I'm hopeless. For example, I have never cared for that bint's smile!

Before LR, I have tried GIMP. This picture digital noise reminds me the GIMP processed files. :cool:
