Had a fun hike on Sunday (definitely won't be doing any this weekend, rain rain rain). Hadn't been up to fairy falls in a long time.

So, here's a couple shots:

And a bonus shot of the gorge...light was good for about 30 seconds, no time to set up tripod, but shot turned out okay once downsized heh. I tried to set up tripod and get shots but the light was gone so I just got the handheld one...

Stuff used: d800, 24-70, 16-35, and one of the shots has a hoya nd4...sigh, I'm so broke I might hafta sell my crap off and just my gf's 5d3 (first world problems I guess I shouldn't complain).

The two falls shots are great. Hope I can take some like that one day. In both shots though that rock/ tree trunk in the bottom right corner that looks like a giant crawfish coming out from behind the rock really stands out and catches the eye. I'm not on mushrooms or pot honest just looks that way.

Sometimes I do (check my site =p). I thought these were more aesthetically pleasing with the stuff pushed toward black though. Also how it appeared with just a little light streaming down and hitting the area in the top left (the moss). Personal preference I guess, shrugs! ^_^ You welcome to edit the stuff though, I don't mind in the least!

Overall, nice images, but I would have preferred not having the top of the falls cut off.

Well, I certainly would not of attempted to edit, if you did not have your image editing on..;)

Yes, PP is very personally subjective...

Do agree with cerett, about not cutting off the tops of the falls.

BTW cerett, what a great lineup of lenses.. !!
