Looking at both the Think Tank Airport Security V2 Pro Roller and its smaller cousin the International V2. I really like the fact the larger bag can hold my 70-200mm f/2.8 MkII upright, making more usable space. Other than that- both would work for me.
I travel for work (not photo related) internationally. This has made it sometimes difficult to pick a large enough bag (s) to carry on and not be told its too large.
Im currently using Think Tanks Streetwalker Pro for my 400mm f/2.8 MkI and thanks to the great folks at TT, they supplied me a neck brace like found in the Glass limo! Ive really come to love this bags construction and design ideas. This lead me to look at replacing my aging Kata bag thats zippers are starting to break under the weight of two pro bodies and L lenses.
So the Questions-
For those who have traveled internationally-Have any of you used the Airport Security V2?
If so, have you had any issues with its size?
All restrictions I've found specify 45" which this bag is. Just wondering things like will it fit straight in the overhead of most larger planes (A380, 777, etc) and if it "looks" too big which may get you flagged on entry.
Thanks for any insight. Both are in my cart now on line- just need to pick one
Cheers-
Alex
