A while back I purchased Imagenomic Portraiture for 1 step skin smoothing.

Keep in mind: I am a complete retard when it comes to PP, so I need something that basically works with the press of a mouse button. Trackpad in my case.

I'm tempted to pay the new upgrade license fee for the above program as it was good. Not great, but good.

The reason I want such is when I shoot my daughters, they suffer from acne, to the point it's difficult, if not impossible, at least for me, to heal or clone it out in LR. I have and pay for Adobe CC, but barely know how to use PS.

Thanks for your recommendations.
Mark

Here's an example of what I'm speaking of, and please feel free to edit the pic.

This is the result from PortraitPro, obtained with 2 mouse-clicks: one to turn off Face sculpting (hate that!) and one to turn off Mouth & Nose controls (not needed in this case).
Personally, I'd tone down skin smoothing, but that would call for two more mouse-clicks. ;)

I just used the Part Healing Brush in Photoshop CC and the Natural Skin Smother which is part of an action collection called Retouch Necessities by greaterthangatsby.com.

The action is a little bit like what you can see in this tutorial:

I agree with agedbriar .....PortraitPro is hard to beat when it comes to extremely quick portrait enhancement with nice results. I use it all the time and absolutely love it. Get yourself a nice crisp high resolution image, use the program, and you will see what I mean!

Got it, used it and like it. Thank you for the recommendation. Reasonably priced too.

Question. If I want to clone out a zit, before or after using portraitpro? Or doesn't it matter?

Also, is only standalone? Can't seem to access it through LR.

There is a brush at top of screen in PortraitPro for this purpose.
Tried it now for the first time and seems to work well.

As long as you have Photoshop, you should research Frequency Separation. It is a method to remove imperfections but still retain pores and texture to keep the skin looking real. Not for batch processing but in a few minutes you can retouch a photo for print. Radlabs has a plugin that utilizes that technique but there are a lot of free actions out there too. You can decide how far you want to go with the retouch.

I 2nd frequency separation. I have purchased portraiture, and a bunch of topaz plugins and after taking a course in photoshop, I fell all of these plugin companies are just taking your money for processess that are very easy to learn for free.

Portrature is doing frequency separation which takes 10 minutes to learn to do.

I use Portraiture on occasions but make sure that I create a separate layer and when it's done doing it's thing I usually reduce the opacity until it just hides imperfections. I also us PS to heal or clone out any really large or dark spots on the skin as I find that Portraiture just mushes them up.
