5D3 and 7D windows 8.1 drivers

Hi

Environment Windows 8.1 64bit

When I connect both my 5d3 and 7d by USB I get a windows error - device not recognised.

I have just updated all my Canon software from their web site but the Image Browser EX 1.1.0a will not install as it cannot find any connected device.

Can anyone offer advice?

The current version is 1.4.05.

I don't have either of those cameras, but do have the Canon Software installed on Win 8.

Hi

I have DPP, EOS Utility and Picture Style Editor installed OK.

EOS Utility tries to connect over LAN/WiFi as the camera's are not being detected.
