Evo's and Subaru's at Combe

Two sunny Saturdays on the trot at Castle Combe a couple of pics from the MLR sprint yesterday. Another outing with a hired 100-400L, think I'm going to trade in my 70-300L. The longer lens is growing on me

Good crisp images ...

The 100-400 gets sniffed at, but is a great work horse of a lens. Check it out though before you part with your money. I had to take the first one I owned back, as it was soft. A common problem I was later told.

It is a Beast of a lens but I would have thought a bit restrictive at some locations

Thanks, have heard a few say the 100-400 can be a little unreliable, but I've hired it a few times now and all good so far. Will treat myself later this year I think.

Interested in trying out the Tamron 150-600? I was thinking about picking up the 100-400L for motorsports work this summer, but since the Tamron came out I have been interested in trying it out.

On my Knockhill site 80% of the shots are with the 100-400L and I would recommend it to anyone. The remainder when a bit of extra reach is needed are from the Sigma 150-500
