Thanks, have heard a few say the 100-400 can be a little unreliable, but I've hired it a few times now and all good so far. Will treat myself later this year I think.

Interested in trying out the Tamron 150-600? I was thinking about picking up the 100-400L for motorsports work this summer, but since the Tamron came out I have been interested in trying it out. Andrew | Midwest Automotive

The remainder when a bit of extra reach is needed are from the Sigma 150-500 Most Canons currently - 1D(Mks 2&3&4), 7D gripped 50D gripped x2, 40Dgripped x2, 30Dgripped, 20D gripped, 350 gripped, 300. with L lenses
