Fought the sun a bit trying to balance the exposures with the clouds rolling in and out, managed a few keepers. Quite a few are natural light mixed with flash.

wonderful set JD, I like the mix NL and flash shots. I want to start trying that, the first image looks like a soldier beetle, perhaps Cantharis pallida

It was quite a workout for my thumb stopping down the aperture every time the sun popped out, but the added DOF was welcomed. Obviously had some struggles when it came to the jumper, couldn't move over enough to get rid of the double reflection in the eyes or the shadow...live and learn ;)
