I've found plenty of apple specific keyboard covers, but none for windows.

Any one found or made their own?

Hmm, interesting, not something I've looked into, but a quick glance at results from a Search does indeed indicate that the energy for putting these things out has gone toward Apple/Mac products...too bad!

It's kind of hard to make them for PC's since every PC manufacturer uses a different keyboard. You can find dedicated Photoshop keyboards, so maybe there's one for Lightroom as well. Otherwise I've seen stickers that you can apply to your keys to let you know what shortcut they're used for.

I have some CS6 keyboard shortcut stickers.

Looks like they have them for Lightroom as well. http://www.4keyboard.com …yboard-sticker-p-307.html (external link)

Well, that would be useful if you have a keyboard dedicated to Lightroom and you like looking at all those bright colors:)!

I have a couple desktop docs that have a good list of shortcuts, one very comprehensive one that I downloaded, and then another "cheat sheet" that I made up for a quick reference for my common ones. And then, I have a little hand-scrawled "cheat sheet" laying on my computer desk.

Of course, Lightroom Help is at our fingertips with a good lay-out of shortcuts! It's at the end of the Help module!

The issue for me is one of time. For the keyboard shortcuts that I rarely use, it's just quicker to use the dropdown menus or click on the tool directly than to look up a cheat sheet.

Well, the stickers also have the regular letters on them so it doesn't have to be a "dedicated" keyboard. But yeah, the colors are a little distracting.

I bought a Logitech G13 game pad a few years ago.
This has multiple keys and a joystick. All programmable.

You can setup multiple profiles. I have one for LR and also one for PSE.
I also have 3 other programs that use the keypad.
I did apply labels to my keys (label maker) specifically for LR.

I believe the G13 has been around for awhile so I'm sure there is something more current out there.
As far as key labels, there is a piece of software with the G13 called Key Profiler. It displays an image of the keypad with the current active profile. Also the keys are labeled with the macro title that you programmed to the key. I usually display this on a second monitor.

In LR I programmed the joystick to move to the next photo when toggled to the right and to move to previous photo when toggled to the left. I also programmed a button macro, when pressed, to mark a photo for delete and move to the next photo.
Helps me to cull images pretty fast.

A little bit of setup involved.
Watch tutorials and read help files.

I create a profile. "Lightroom"
I then record a key function "or functions", apply a label and then assign that to a button.
You can have a macro record multiple key presses. The macro will also execute those key presses in the order you recorded them.
Example; in one button I have recorded a macro that tags a photo for reject and moves to the next photo. The key stroke is SHIFT X.

To delete rejects I have programmed "Right Ctrl, Backspace" into a macro.
This brings up a window to confirm delete.
Next I programmed "D" into another macro. This deletes the photos.

We got a couple of these at my work a few weeks ago (we use CAD type software and dedicated buttons are much more efficient than toolbars, once you learn them)... and I've thought about how useful it would be for Lightroom.

Amazon Link to Logitech G600 mouse (external link)

They were on sale for $40 when we got them, but the price is up to $60 now. They have 12 side buttons, a shift key for an extra 12... and you can load multiple profiles also, and switch between them with a top button on the mouse (and each profile can have the keys light a different color so you know which is active.)

I haven't tried setting it up for LR... but after this post I might have to give it a go.

That g13 gamepad looks interesting too!
